Due to ongoing winter weather conditions, the Lake Hamilton School District will be closed on Friday, January 30, 2026. All after-school activities and events scheduled for Friday have been canceled or will be rescheduled.

We know how disruptive school closures can be for families, and we want our students back in the classroom just as much as our parents do. Our transportation, maintenance, security, and administrative teams have been driving roads across the district. Unfortunately, many remain ice-covered and unsafe for student transportation. Even after reviewing our snow bus routes, many of those routes are still not passable at this time.

Our hope is that there will be sunshine to help improve road conditions so we can return to a regular schedule next week. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we make decisions with the safety of our students and staff as our top priority.

The missed school day will be made up on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
