Welcome to the Lake Hamilton School District – Where Tradition Meets Excellence

Nestled just west of Hot Springs National Park, the Lake Hamilton School District is a proud part of Garland County and one of only seven K-12 independent school districts in the area. Spanning 167 square miles, our district is more than a place to learn—it’s a vibrant community where families grow, students thrive, and excellence is the standard.

From quiet neighborhoods to lakefront homes, multi-family communities to scenic farmland, the Lake Hamilton area offers a wide variety of housing options that make it easy to find your perfect place to call home.

Serving approximately 3,800 students across six campuses and supported by nearly 400 dedicated staff members, Lake Hamilton is known for delivering high-quality education in a supportive and close-knit environment. Our schools have earned national and state recognition in academics, the arts, and athletics—reflecting a district-wide commitment to student success and well-rounded development.

Lake Hamilton also offers a strong focus on Career and Technical Education (CTE), providing students with hands-on learning experiences, real-world skills, and industry certifications that prepare them for success in both college and career pathways. From construction technology and health sciences to business and culinary arts, our CTE programs empower students to explore their interests and build their futures.

Rooted in small-town charm and driven by a strong sense of community, Lake Hamilton embraces both tradition and innovation. We provide first-class learning opportunities while honoring the values that define who we are.

At Lake Hamilton, we are one pack with one purpose: our students' success!

All Lake Hamilton Public Schools are fully accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education.
