SUPERINTENDENT'S COUNCIL MEETING The Superintendent's Student Advisory Council met yesterday for their second meeting of the year. During the first meeting, students shared what they loved about Lake Hamilton and some things they would like to improve at Lake Hamilton. Students worked on solutions yesterday to some of their improvement requests that consisted of student mental health, student and teacher communication, dress code, and more. SSAC members provide the administrative staff with valuable insight as the district works to ensure a positive student experience for all. #LHWolfNation

STATE FOOTBALL & STATE DANCE TICKETS Lake Hamilton will host West Memphis tonight at Wolf Stadium for the first round of the AAA State Playoffs. Lake Hamilton will host all of the high school dance teams in Arkansas on Saturday in Wolf Arena for the AAA State Dance Championships. School passes will not be accepted since these are AAA events. Only AAA passes will be accepted. AAA does not permit cash sales at the door. HOLIDAY CARDS FOR MILITARY MEMBERS The Division of Elementary and Secondary Education recently invited schools to participate in the "Holiday Cards 4 Our Military" Challenge (HCMC). The goal of the HCMC is to provide holiday cards for as many active duty military service members as possible. Lake Hamilton students enjoyed creating holiday cards for our military members! #LHWolfNation

LHPS | CUB CLUB Lake Hamilton Primary School recently announced the kindergarten students selected to the Cub Club for the month of October. These students were selected by their teachers for being great students and all-around awesome kids! LHPS | ALPHA PACK Lake Hamilton Primary School recently announced the first-grade students selected to the Alpha Pack for the month of October. STATE CHAMPIONS ​The Lake Hamilton High School boys cross country team captured the 5A Arkansas State Championship on Friday, November 5. This is the second consecutive state title for the boy's cross country team. The girls finished 3rd in the 5A classification. LHHS | STEP WITH THE CITY Lake Hamilton High School STEP (students transitioning to employment program) students started their new jobs with the City of Hot Springs this week. Students worked to put up Christmas lights in Arlington Park. #LHWolfNation

PBS INTERVIEW Lake Hamilton High School senior defensive tackle, Dylan Williams, was interviewed by Arkansas PBS yesterday. The interview will air during the AAA State Football Championship games that will take place in December. #LHWolfNation

LHES | CABBAGE PLANT CONTEST WINNER Each year, 3rd grade students at Lake Hamilton Elementary School receive a small cabbage plant to replant and nurture throughout the spring and summer. A school winner is selected each year to enter the state contest for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to Logan Hanna for winning the Bonnie Cabbage Plant Program for LHES! His cabbage weighed in at over 7 pounds! #LHWolfNation

LHHS | VOLLEYBALL AWARDS The Lake Hamilton High School volleyball team just wrapped up a successful season with a conference record of 9 - 3 and an overall record of 16 - 17 with two splits. LHJH | TEACHER AWARD The Arkansas Education Association recently awarded Lake Hamilton Junior High Computer Science Teacher, Ashley Kincannon, their AEA Teacher of the Year Award. The AEA Teacher of the Year Award recognizes, rewards, and promotes excellence in teaching and advocacy for the association. #LHWolfNation

ASSOCIATE OF THE YEAR Lake Hamilton Middle School custodian, Mark Ross, was recently awarded Associate of the Year for Lake Hamilton from SSC Services for Education. STATE CROSS COUNTRY TICKETS The high school state cross country championships are being held on the Oaklawn Infield today and tomorrow. The senior boy's and senior girl's will compete for the state title on Friday. Girls at 2:00 p.m. and the boys at 2:45 p.m. This is an Arkansas Activities Association event.
