Monday, January 20, is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and a scheduled teacher workday. There will be no school for students. Classes will resume for students on Tuesday, January 21.

We’re almost there, #LHWolfNation! Only 24 roads in our district remain unclear and untreated, making them unsafe for bus transportation. The updated list of roads that remain unsafe for bus transportation on Friday, January 17, 2025, can be found at https://lhsd.info/road-list-jan-17-2025
As always, student absences will not be counted for those living on roads that remain unsafe or untreated.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

Thanks to higher temperatures, 40 previously unclear roads in the district have been cleared today. However, some roads remain unsafe for bus transportation. The updated list of roads that are still unsafe for buses can be found here: https://lhsd.info/road-list-jan-16-2025.
We’re making progress, #LHWolfNation—slowly but surely! Thank you for your continued patience and support as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

The Lake Hamilton School District will operate on regular school hours on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, but bus transportation will remain limited to cleared and/or treated roads. Many roads in our district are still unsafe for bus transportation due to being untreated or unclear.
District officials have been driving throughout the area today to assess road conditions and have created a list of roads that remain unsafe for buses (https://lhsd.info/road-list-jan-15-2025). Please note, this list may not be all-inclusive; there could still be smaller roads that are unsafe for bus travel.

Reminder: This afternoon, we will dismiss at our regular times.
School buses will follow the same routes as this morning. If your child's bus was unable to pick them up this morning due to an untreated or unclear road, it will not be dropping off on that route this afternoon.
District officials will continue monitoring road conditions throughout the day, and updated bus route information for Wednesday, January 15, will be shared later this evening.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.

Additional Staff Information:
• Staff members should report at their regular arrival times.
• If staff members are unable to arrive on time, they must contact their supervisor.

The Lake Hamilton School District will operate on a two-hour delayed start on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, with school beginning at 10:00 a.m. and dismissal at regular scheduled times.
Transportation Details:
• School bus transportation will only be provided on cleared and/or treated roads.
• If your bus route is on a clear or treated road, please be ready for pick-up two hours later than your normal time. For example, a 6:45 a.m. pick-up will occur at 8:45 a.m.
• Student absences will not be counted for those living on roads that remain untreated or unsafe. Parents should send a note to school on Wednesday if their child is unable to attend on Tuesday due to road conditions in their area.

The Lake Hamilton School District will be closed on Monday, January 13, 2025. While main roads are clear, many side and back roads remain unsafe for student transportation.
The missed school day will be made up on Friday, April 18, 2025, which is a designated inclement weather make-up day.
