Beginning next week, the LHSD security team will conduct lockdown drills at each school over a two-week period. These drills will not take place district-wide; instead, each building will have its own unannounced drill. Parents and guardians will receive an automated text when a drill occurs at their child’s school. Lockdown drills are an important part of our safety protocols, ensuring that students and staff know how to respond in the event of an emergency. Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our schools safe.
