welcome back wolves

Dear Wolf Families,

Weโ€™re excited to welcome our 1st - 12th grade students back on Tuesday, August 12th , for what we know will be a great year at Lake Hamilton!

Thank you for choosing Lake Hamilton. We know you have options when it comes to your childโ€™s education, and weโ€™re honored youโ€™ve chosen us.

Important Reminders:

Traffic and Arrival

Please expect heavy traffic during drop-off and pick-up, especially during the first week. Traffic will improve each day as routines settle in, but patience is essential and most especially in school zones. We have many student drivers, and your caution and attentiveness are critical to everyoneโ€™s safety.

Dismissal

You donโ€™t need to arrive far in advance. Consider waiting a few minutes after dismissal to avoid the busiest traffic. Weโ€™ll remain on-site until every student has been picked up safely.

We will load vehicles with a clear emphasis on safety over speed. Please show patience to our team and other drivers as we work through the start of the school year. A little grace goes a long way in keeping everyone safe and supported.

Buses

Bus routes may run late at first, but they will become more consistent each day. We are actively monitoring routes and making adjustments as needed.

Weโ€™re Here to Help

Most students will have a positive and smooth experience at school. If your child faces challenges, we want to help. Please reach out. We're committed to listening and working with you to find solutions.

If frustrations arise, we ask that you speak with us directly. Open and respectful communication allows us to better support your child and build a strong partnership with you.

A Note on Social Media

Many student-related issues begin online. Please monitor your childโ€™s social media use and encourage responsible behavior. Addressing these concerns is most effective when families and schools work together.

If you have a concern, we respectfully ask that you bring it to us before posting online. We want the opportunity to address your concerns promptly and accurately.

Student Safety is Our Top Priority

If your child shares anything concerningโ€”threats, unsafe behavior, or bullyingโ€”please contact a school or district administrator immediately. You can also report anonymously through the See/Say link at the top right corner of our website at lhwolves.net.

If I can be of assistance, please let me know. We are here to support your family throughout the school year.

Thank you again for being part of the Lake Hamilton Wolf family.

Go Wolves!
