SELECTED TO ATTEND CONFERENCE Four Lake Hamilton Junior High computer science students (Jenny Dong, Gabrielle Gilliam, Kaitlin Guthrie, and Anna Allgier) recently applied and were selected to attend the Girls of Promise Conference. Girls of Promise® is an initiative of the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas, which aims to help women & girls reach their full economic potential. Girls of Promise® exposes girls to opportunities and mentors in STEAM fields with the goal of increasing the number of women in higher-level STEAM courses, careers, and putting them on the path to achieve economic security as women. #LHWolfNation

DEADLINE TO REGISTER: MARCH 12 The Lake Hamilton School District will provide no-cost bulk meals for children 18 years and younger during Spring Break via drive-through pick up. In order to prepare the appropriate number of bulk meals, registration is required​ (http://lhsd.info/Spring-Break-Bulk-Meal-Registration) Bulk meal drive through pick up will take place on Friday, March 19, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. behind the high school cafeteria. 7 breakfasts and 7 lunches will be provided for each child that is 18 years or younger in the household. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALIST Congratulations to the Lake Hamilton Indoor Winds (LHIW) for being named a WGI World Championship Semi-Finalist in virtual competition week 2! LHIW submitted a recording of their 2021 program 'Retro Replay' for consideration, and placed 2nd in their round, advancing to the semi-final round. LHIW is a 2018 WGI A Class World Champion, and a 2019 WGI Open Class Silver Medalist. The next chance to see the LH Indoor Winds ensemble will be April 10th, at the Arkansas Marching Arts Association Greenwood competition. #LHWolfNation

Successful teaching experience in Army JROTC is preferred.
