LHHS | CLUB DAYS Lake Hamilton High School students have over 20 clubs and organizations to choose from! The student organizations at the high school offer something for everyone! Last week, students had the opportunity to meet and interact with club sponsors. ROBOTIC FINGER Lake Hamilton Intermediate School 4th grade students in Brittany Bailey's science classes made a model of the human finger. Students used string as a model for tendons and we’re able to observe how each of their finger bones bend at the joints. #LHWolfNation

LHJH | LITERATURE CIRCLES Lake Hamilton Junior High students in Jennifer McCullah's Pre-AP English classes recently visited the library to pick a book of their choice through a fun "speed dating" activity. Nikki Aitken, junior high library media specialist, showed the students how to "get to know" their books in 6 minute rotations so that they could decide which one they wanted to take home and read. #LHWolfNation

SCIENCE LAB SAFETY Lake Hamilton Junior High 9th grade physical science students recently completed their unit on lab safety. The students placed drops of hydrochloric acid on an egg to demonstrate the importance of eye safety when participating in lab activities. #LHWolfNation

PREPARING FOR CHESS TOURNAMENT Lake Hamilton Intermediate School 5th-grade students in A.C.E. have been sharpening their chess skills this week in preparation for an upcoming chess tournament. #LHWolfNation

CLASS OF 2021 SPORTS HALL OF FAME Congratulations to the following individuals for being inducted into the Lake Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame: Meredith Heckel Larue, Ethan Turpen, Matt Wait, Jessica Weatherford, and John Welch. The induction was held on Friday, August 27, 2021, during the pre-game of the Lake Hamilton and Lakeside football game. Current Hall of Fame members Jamie Bridges, Karl Koonce, Stephanie Foreman, Dixie Land French, and Tiffany Wait McCain were on hand to present the plaques on field to the 2021 recipients. CROSS COUNTRY PRE-SEASON RANKINGS The pre-season rankings are out for cross country! The Lake Hamilton High School boys made the top 100 rankings for returning boys teams to watch for cross country nationally in 2021. The boys are ranked 94 in the United States our of all senior high boys teams combined for their returning top 5 runners. The boys are also ranked #1 in 5A and #1 overall (in all classifications) combined for returning runners in the pre-season Arkansas boys cross country rankings. The senior girls are currently ranked #5 in 5A Arkansas, but very close to the #1 spot! Have a great season, Running Wolves! #LHWolfNation

WOLVES HOST RAMS The Lake Hamilton Wolves will host the Lakeside Rams tonight at Wolf Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. All tickets must be purchased online at lhwolves.ticketleap.com.
