SILVER MEDALIST The Lake Hamilton High School Power Band of Arkansas earned the silver medal at State Marching Band contest held in Little Rock Monday, November 2. In addition, the band earned the high music score in class 6A and earned their 5th consecutive 1st division rating at the State Marching Contest. #LHWolfNation

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL RECAP Lake Hamilton High School volleyball coach, Karen Smith, recently shared how thankful she was that her team was able to play their entire schedule this season and how proud she was of her team! The team went 10-2 in conference play, finished 2nd in the conference, and made it to the first round of the state tournament. STATE CROSS COUNTRY MEET TICKETS The Arkansas Activities Association has released the ticket link for the state cross country championships that will be held on the infield of Oaklawn Park on Thursday and Friday. MIDDLE SCHOOL CYBER AwARe POSTER COMPETITION The Cyber AwARe Poster Contest is a competition designed to promote cyber safety among Arkansas public school students. Participating students were required to create a new, original poster (hard copy or digital) centered on the theme of "Staying Safe Online." All entries were entered into the state competition as well as the competition at the middle school. STEP STUDENTS VOTE Lake Hamilton High School students in Jodie Keeling's STEP (students transitioning to employment program) class who are 18 years old registered to vote in September. The students have been learning about the presidential candidates, their policies through research projects, and the importance of participating in the voting process. The students enjoyed a special field trip today as they cast their vote for the very first time! #LHWolfNation

PUMPKIN DONATIONS Lone Wolf Auto Body and Paint, Inc. is a new partner in education with the Lake Hamilton School District. Lone Wolf recently donated a pumpkin to every student in the primary school. Thank you for your donation! #LHWolfNation

1ST DIVISION RATINGS The Lake Hamilton High School Power Band competed this past weekend at the Four States Marching Invitational in Texarkana. The band earned first division ratings in band, percussion, and color guard. Additionally, the group was named Outstanding Percussion of the Day, Outstanding Color Guard of the Day, and named the 2020 Four States Invitational Grand Champions. Congratulations! #LHWolfNation

FLEXIBLE FRIDAY TOMORROW FOR 4 - 12TH GRADE Tomorrow (Friday, October 30) is the first Flexible Friday for 4 - 12th grade students. K - 3rd grade students will continue to follow their normal schedule. CALLING ALL VIRTUAL STUDENTS AND FAMILIES The Wolf Pack Reading Den will be available at three different locations on Tuesday, November 3 for Lake Hamilton Virtual Academy students and families. Wolf Pack Reading Den staff will be on board to allow virtual students the opportunity to check out books and to assist with any technology related questions. Here's the times and locations for Tuesday, November 3: 8:45 - 9:10 a.m. Pearcy Baptist Church Parking Lot (9585 Airport Road) 9:25 - 10:20 a.m. Corner of Marion Anderson and Airport Road 10:35 - 11:15 a.m. Harps Parking Lot (146 Thornton Ferry Road) The following safety precautions will be followed: 1. Temperatures will be taken before being allowed on the bus. 2. One family at a time will be allowed on the bus. 3. All persons must sanitize their hands before entering the bus. 4.
