OCTOBER CUB CLUB Lake Hamilton Primary School has announced the kindergarten students selected for the October Cub Club: Emma Lawrence, Jaxton Stoutenburg, Kaden Rhodes, Landon Hightower, Jaycob Thompson, Bretta McCord, Harley Leckner, PJ Abon, Peyton Pavlovic, Zyler Villatoro, Juleeana Silvan, Harleigh Calcagno, Ashtyn Mexico-Carley, Easton Smith, Rylie Waggoner-Jensen and Tuesday Woodall. These students were selected by their teacher for being an awesome student and an all-around awesome kid in the classroom! #LHWolfNation

SUPERINTENDENT'S STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL LHSD Superintendent Shawn Higginbotham recently held a meeting with all of the members of the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to hear about updates, have their questions answered, and share their own feedback regarding various ways to improve and continue making Lake Hamilton the best school around! #LHWolfNation

SILVER MEDALIST The Lake Hamilton High School Power Band of Arkansas earned the silver medal at State Marching Band contest held in Little Rock Monday, November 2. In addition, the band earned the high music score in class 6A and earned their 5th consecutive 1st division rating at the State Marching Contest. #LHWolfNation

MIDDLE SCHOOL CYBER AwARe POSTER COMPETITION The Cyber AwARe Poster Contest is a competition designed to promote cyber safety among Arkansas public school students. Participating students were required to create a new, original poster (hard copy or digital) centered on the theme of "Staying Safe Online." All entries were entered into the state competition as well as the competition at the middle school. Congratulations to the middle school winners: 1st Place - Aubrey Avaritt (center) 2nd Place - Riley Mahoney (right) 3rd Place - Cannan Davis (left) Prizes awarded include a Sphero Mini, a 3D pen, and a Parrot Mini Drone. #LHWolfNation

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL RECAP Lake Hamilton High School volleyball coach, Karen Smith, recently shared how thankful she was that her team was able to play their entire schedule this season and how proud she was of her team! The team went 10-2 in conference play, finished 2nd in the conference, and made it to the first round of the state tournament. STEP STUDENTS VOTE Lake Hamilton High School students in Jodie Keeling's STEP (students transitioning to employment program) class who are 18 years old registered to vote in September. The students have been learning about the presidential candidates, their policies through research projects, and the importance of participating in the voting process. The students enjoyed a special field trip today as they cast their vote for the very first time! #LHWolfNation

1ST DIVISION RATINGS The Lake Hamilton High School Power Band competed this past weekend at the Four States Marching Invitational in Texarkana. The band earned first division ratings in band, percussion, and color guard. Additionally, the group was named Outstanding Percussion of the Day, Outstanding Color Guard of the Day, and named the 2020 Four States Invitational Grand Champions. Congratulations! #LHWolfNation
