WORKING ON A BUDGET Lake Hamilton Middle School students in Angie Key's 7th grade business keyboarding classes have been working through an interactive website, playspent.org. On this site, students looked at various jobs and worked on a budget to ensure they could make ends meet for 30 days. Decision making skills were put to the test. Students had to make decisions about what health insurance plan to take out, housing, transportation, grocery bills, vet bills, etc. If students ran out of money, they had to start over until they could make it 30 days without a negative balance. Some students were forced to go without certain luxuries they may have in real life in order to stay in budget. #LHWolfNation
