LHES | STEM LAB
Lake Hamilton Elementary School students love going to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) lab each week. 3rd grade students recently learned how adaptation can give some animals a better chance to be camouflaged in their environment while 2nd grade students learned about heat transfer with conductors. #LHWolfNation

LHJH | WOLF TIME
A group of Lake Hamilton Junior High students in Ashley Kincannon's computer science classes recently learned how to create products using the vinyl machine during Wolf Time for computer science enrichment. The students designed a rose, printed the design, and then learned how to weed and transfer the design. #LHWolfNation

LHHS | STATE GOLF
The Lake Hamilton High School boys golf team qualified as a team for the state tournament for the first time in program history! The team is playing iat Mystic Creek in El Dorado today in the 5A State Tournament. Good luck to the team: Peyton Garner (senior), Cade Robinson (senior), Zac Pennington (junior), Brode Horton (sophomore), and Jack Higginbotham (sophomore).
The Lake Hamilton High School girls golf team had two individuals qualify for the 5A state tournament: Jordyn Garner (sophomore) and Ginny Higginbotham (senior). The girls represented the girls golf program very well last week during the 5A Girls Golf Tournament held at Glenwood Country Club.

CROSS COUNTRY | CYCLONE INVITATIONAL
The Lake Hamilton cross country teams traveled to Russellville this past weekend for the Cyclone Invitational held on the campus of Arkansas Tech University.
In class 5A competition, the senior boys finished in 1st place out of 10 teams with a low score of 30 points. In the overall combined classifications, the boys finished in 1st place over 23 combined teams from 1 - 6A for a record of 23 - 0 for the day. The senior girls finished in 1st place in the class 5A category out of 6 teams and were 3rd overall in all classifications behind 6A Conway and Bryant. The senior girls finished with a 14-2 record for the day.
The junior boys brought home 3rd place in the class 5A category out of 8 teams and finished 10th in overall combined classifications for a record of 13 - 9. The junior girls won 1st place in the class 5A category out of 8 teams and won 2nd overall in all classifications for a record of 19-1 on the day. The junior girls were narrowly beat by 6A Bryant 70 - 71 for the top team honors out of all classifications.

Lake Hamilton Intermediate School students have been learning about Australian aboriginal symbols. Students drew the symbols and then used dot painting to add color to them. #LHWolfNation
