Lake Hamilton New Horizons has been awarded the A.W.A.R.E. (Advancing Wellness and Resiliency in Education) grant to support efforts in providing mental health care awareness and trauma-informed practices for students and staff. The grant will provide opportunities for school staff to attend mental health conferences and to purchase curriculum beneficial to students. Lake Hamilton New Horizons is one of twenty schools in Arkansas awarded the $10,000 grant. This will be the second year in a row for the program to receive the grant.
