Shuddersome Tales of Poe
Performed by Lake Hamilton Junior Thespians in grades 6–8, Shuddersome Tales of Poe brings the haunting works of Edgar Allan Poe to life through a theatrical journey featuring some of his most recognizable literary creations.
Audiences will experience dramatic interpretations of The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Oval Portrait, The Bells, and The Masque of the Red Death.
Through character, movement, sound, and atmosphere, students transform Poe's unforgettable language, rhythm, and imagery into a captivating live theatrical experience.
The Yellow Wallpaper
Lake Hamilton High School Theatre students in grades 9–12 will present The Yellow Wallpaper, based on Charlotte Perkins Gilman's influential Gothic short story.
This psychological drama explores themes of isolation, identity, and the struggle for self-expression. As the story unfolds, audiences are drawn into an increasingly unsettling world where imagination and reality begin to blur.
