The Lake Hamilton School District is celebrating significant academic achievement and growth following the release of the 2025–2026 Arkansas school and district letter grades.
All six Lake Hamilton schools improve letter grades; four campuses earn A ratings, and five receive Arkansas Gem School recognition
Lake Hamilton earned an overall A rating, placing the district among only 26 school districts across Arkansas to receive the state's highest letter grade.
The districtwide achievement is accompanied by significant growth at the school level: every Lake Hamilton campus improved its letter grade from the previous year, four of the district's six schools earned A ratings, and five schools received a combined eight Arkansas Gem School recognitions.

The system considers multiple measures of student performance, including achievement and academic growth, with high schools and districts also incorporating the Success Ready Graduate measure.
Five Schools Earn Arkansas Gem School Recognition
Lake Hamilton's academic success was further recognized through the new Arkansas Gem School program.
Arkansas Gem Schools recognize outstanding student results and schools leading the way in academic achievement, academic growth and sustained improvement. Gem designations are calculated using data from the state's annual school rating formula.
