In accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Lake Hamilton School District provides notice that special education records for students who exited the district’s special education program six (6) years ago or more are scheduled for destruction.
Records include information related to identification, evaluation, educational placement, and the provision of a free appropriate public education. Destruction of records will occur because the information is no longer needed to provide educational services.
Legal guardians, or eligible former students (students who are 18 years of age or older) may request copies of these records prior to destruction.

Requests must be submitted no later than (45 days from published date). After that date, records will be destroyed and will no longer be available.
