PRE-K
Open house appointments for incoming PreK students will be held August 12 (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) and August 13 (12:00 - 7:00 p.m.). Teachers will contact parents/guardians to set up an appointment. The first day of school for PreK students will be Monday, August 24, 2020.
PRIMARY SCHOOL (K - 1ST GRADE)
Open house for incoming kindergarten and first grade students will be done by appointment only. Teachers will contact the parent/guardian of each student to set up an appointment. Open house appointments are limited to two adults per student (no siblings).
Kindergarten Open House & School Start Date: Open house appointments for incoming kindergarten students will be held August 24 (12:00 - 7:00 p.m.) and August 25 (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.). The first day of school for kindergarten students will be Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
First Grade Open House: Open house appointments for incoming first grade students will be held August 12 (9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.) and August 13 (12:00 - 7:00 p.m.). The first day of school for first grade students will be Monday, August 24, 2020.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (2 - 3RD GRADE)
Open house will be done virtually for incoming second and third grade students. Teachers will contact parents to share information regarding the virtual open house. Tours of the building may be arranged by calling the elementary school office to set up an appointment.
INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL (4 - 5TH GRADE)
Open house will be done virtually for incoming fourth and fifth grade students on Thursday, August 13, 2020, between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. Teachers will contact parents to share information regarding the virtual open house. Virtual open house videos will be recorded for anyone not able to watch the live feed. Tours of the building may be arranged by calling the intermediate school office to set up an appointment. Face coverings will be required for any tours.
MIDDLE SCHOOL (6 - 7TH GRADE)
Open house will be done virtually for incoming sixth and seventh grade students. Parents and students will be able to take a virtual tour through interactive hyperlinks with teachers and the school building.
Drive through pick-up for ALL students will be August 17 and 18 (10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.).
6th & 7th grade Virtual Student Materials Pick Up
Drive through pick-up will be located at the Middle School gym entrance.
Virtual students will receive their schedules, materials needed for virtual learning and snap codes for returning student registration.

Drive through schedule pick-up will be located at the front entrance of the Middle School.

Parents and students will be able to meet their teachers and take a virtual tour of the Middle School.
JUNIOR HIGH (8 - 9TH GRADE)
Lake Hamilton Junior High will be holding an Open House Drive Thru Event on Tuesday, August 18th from 8:00 - 3:00 p.m.
8th-9th Grade Virtual Student Materials Pick Up
Drive thru for virtual students will be at the bus loading zone on the south side of the school building. Parents/students will not need to get out of their cars.
Students will be provided student schedules, Chromebooks, charging cords, textbooks, and school supplies for the fall semester.
8th-9th Grade Onsite Student Materials Pick Up
Drive thru will be held in the car rider lane on the east side of the school between the school and the football practice field. Parents/students will not need to get out of their cars.
Students will be provided student schedules and initial supplies.More supplies will be provided the first week of school including Chromebooks and charging cords. Snapcode Letters will also be provided to parents to update “Returning Student Registration” information.
LHJH Google Site Virtual Open House
LHJH Google Site will be created to provide parents with information pertaining to their child such as, Meet the Teacher Videos, updating demographic information through our “Returning Student Registration” link provided, and setting up meal accounts for student meals. The LHJH Student handbook will also be accessible for students and parents to review.
Meet the Teachers
Videos will be created by each teacher in order for students to meet their teacher. Videos will be placed on the website for students to view.
Once each student receives his/her schedule they will visit the LHJH website and click on the “Meet the Teacher” icon to meet their teacher.
HIGH SCHOOL (10 - 12TH GRADE)
Open house will be done virtually for incoming tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade students. The emphasis on the virtual open house will be procedures, technology, and contingency plans for remote learning. The virtual open house video will be released by August 16 through social media and placed on the high school website.
10-12th Grade Onsite Student Materials will be handed out the first week of school.

NEW HORIZONS (K - 12TH GRADE)
New Horizons K - 5th grade and PBS open house is August 12 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. by appointment only. Face coverings will be required. New Horizons 6 - 12th grade open house will be a drive through event. August 11: 11th & 12th Grade (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.), August 12: 9th & 10th Grade (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.), August 13: 6th, 7th, & 8th Grade (1:00 - 4:00 p.m.).
