Thank you for your patience this past week. Our staff has worked hard to prepare our campuses for reopening.
Unfortunately, ice and continued low temperatures are still causing unsafe conditions across many side roads, even though main roads are clear. While we considered a late start, buses would still need to travel during unsafe hours.
For the safety of our students and staff, the Lake Hamilton School District will remain closed on Monday, February 2. We understand this creates challenges for families, but we cannot risk a bus or student driver accident.
Please expect an update from the district on Tuesday's schedule by 3 pm tomorrow.
