lake hamilton legacy project

The Lake Hamilton School District has launched a new webpage to share information about the Lake Hamilton Legacy Project, a district-wide facilities improvement plan focused on safety, learning spaces, and long-term planning.

The Lake Hamilton Legacy project includes plans for a new Lake Hamilton High School, district-wide safety and security upgrades, fine arts improvements, a covered turf pavilion, and turf baseball and softball fields. The project is designed to address aging facilities while preparing learning environments to support academics, career and technical education, fine arts, and athletics for future generations of Wolves.

Parts of the current high school date back to 1974 and have undergone multiple additions over the years. As educational needs, safety expectations, and programs have evolved, the district has worked to develop a plan that looks ahead while honoring the district’s history and commitment to students.

The new Lake Hamilton Legacy webpage serves as a central location for community members to access official project information. Resources available on the page include a letter from the superintendent, a millage information sheet, project details and timelines, and election-related information such as voting dates and locations.

The webpage is intended to provide clear, factual information so community members can better understand what is included in the Lake Hamilton Legacy Project and why the district is planning for these improvements.
