During times of uncertainty, the Lake Hamilton School District wants to assure our Wolf family that we are committed to supporting you. While we hope any lapse in government appropriations is brief, the following information may be helpful if your family experiences financial strain.
🍎 Meal Information:
All students in the Lake Hamilton School District can eat breakfast for free.
Free lunch is available for families who qualify. On the date of your first missed paycheck, you can submit an application for meal benefits.
Applications are processed quickly by our food services team, and qualification is based on household income. It never hurts to apply.
Students who qualify for Free and Reduced Meals will receive free meals for the remainder of the school year.
Students who qualify also gain access to additional benefits such as Summer EBT and free ACT testing.
All information is kept strictly confidential.

🏦 Additional Financial Help:
Check with your local bank (where your paycheck is deposited) to see if they offer zero-interest short-term loans to help maintain your regular pay schedule.
💛 Emotional & Family Support:
We know that financial uncertainty can cause stress for both students and families. Our district has staff available to listen, support, and help connect you with local resources.

The Hot Springs Community Resource Center has a wide range of support services available, as well.
