The Lake Hamilton School District is proud to announce that Amanda Porter, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator, has been named the Arkansas ACTE Administrator of the Year by the Arkansas Association for Career and Technical Education.
This prestigious award recognizes outstanding leadership and significant contributions to career and technical education in Arkansas. Porter was selected for her unwavering commitment to student achievement, teacher support, and the development of innovative and impactful CTE programs at Lake Hamilton.
As the districtโs CTE Coordinator, Porter oversees programs that prepare students for careers in healthcare, engineering, agriculture, business, education, and more. Her leadership has led to expanded opportunities for students, stronger community partnerships, and a clear focus on both college and career readiness.
Porter will be formally recognized at the upcoming Arkansas ACTE Conference, where educators and administrators from across the state gather to celebrate excellence in career and technical education.
