NARRATIVE WRITING Student's in Mrs. Duke's 2nd grade class wrote their first narrative piece of the year. They wrote some fun stories! #LHWolfNation

MASCOT PICTURES LHES PTO will be holding a mascot picture fundraiser on Friday, November 6, 2021. The photo opportunity will be $5 and that gets the student a framed picture with Wolfie, our Lake Hamilton mascot. #LHWolfNation

FOOD DRIVE The Lake Hamilton School District's food drive will be held November 1 - 5, 2021. Each grade has been assigned a food item that can be brought to school during the week. Did you know the district supplies 239 students with food backpacks each Friday so the students will have something to eat over the weekend? The district also provides 50 - 55 food boxes to Lake Hamilton families each month. The Lake Hamilton Parent Center is currently in need of food for these two services. Please consider donating this week! Pre-K and Kindergarten: Granola Bars or Breakfast Bars 1st Grade: Mac & Cheese (Boxes or Individual Serving Size) 2nd Grade: Cereal (Large Boxes) 3rd Grade: Oatmeal (Individual Packets) 4th Grade: Peanut Butter or Jelly 5th Grade: Canned Vegetables or Instant Potatoes 6th Grade: Canned Soup or Packaged Soup Mixes 7th Grade: Rice or Hamburger Helper 8th Grade: Canned Meat (Vienna Sausage, Tuna, Chicken, etc.) 9th Grade: Crackers (Saltine, Ritz, Peanut Butter, etc.) High School, New Horizons, & PBS: Pasta or Pasta Sauce Central Office or Other Staff: Meals in a Can (Chef Boyardee, Stew, Chili, etc.) *Please check for an expiration date before sending food items to school. #LHWolfNation

RED RIBBON SPIRIT WEEK It's Red Ribbon Spirit Week at Lake Hamilton! A week to celebrate being drug and alcohol free! Students and staff are encouraged to participate in the dress up days throughout the week! KROGER PLUS CARD Do you shop at Kroger?  If you register your Kroger Plus Card for the Lake Hamilton Parent Center, a portion of the sale will go towards the parent center's food pantry and food for kids backpack program!  All at no cost to you! #LHWolfNation

PUMPKIN EXPLORATION Students in Mrs. Hudspeth's 2nd grade class explore pumpkins. They also compared pumpkin sizes. It was a beautiful day for some hands-on learning! #LHWolfNation

GUEST SPEAKERS Dr. Tyler Knapp and medical student Parker Knapp came to speak to Mrs. Knapp's and Mrs. Hudspeth's classes. They discussed what it takes to become a doctor, what being a doctor is like, and they answered many questions. #LHWolfNation

A driver must be (𝟮𝟭) 𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆-𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿, have a 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱, be able to 𝗼𝗯𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲, provide a 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙧𝙪𝙜 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣, and 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙖 𝙥𝙝𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 that is required by the Arkansas Department of Education once every (2) two years.
