EXPLORING SUBTRACTION
Students in Ms. Smeltzer's 2nd grade class use manipulatives to explore subtraction. Hands-on activities like this help to develop number sense and let students really "see" the skill.

3rd grade students worked on onomotopoeia and created some onomotopoeia art words in both Mrs. Vincent's and Mrs. Harvey's classes. We bet you can't say "onomotopoeia" 5 times fast!

Mrs. Ballard's 3rd grade class class is working hard on multi-syllable division! Students are using the rules they've learned about dividing words into syllables.
