NATIONAL CUSTODIANS' DAY National Custodian's Day is Saturday, Oct 2nd., LHIS honored Mrs. Caroline today. We appreciate all her hard work and dedication to our students and staff. A DAY OF PRAYER FOR ARKANSAS STUDENTS Act 902 - An Act to Establish a Day of Prayer for Arkansas Students was passed by the 93rd General Assembly. Governor Hutchinson has declared the last Wednesday in September as “A Day of Prayer for Arkansas Students”. This year the day will be recognized on Wednesday, September 29th. Governor Hutchinson encourages all citizens of all faiths and backgrounds to voluntarily join in prayer for the success and safety of our students. UNDERSTANDING MULTIPLICATION Mrs. Wharton’s W.I.N. time group went back to multiplication basics today and created multiplication models/arrays on their desks. The goal was to get a better understanding of what it means to multiply. #LHWolfNation

LOCKDOWN LIFTED The Lake Hamilton School District has returned to normal operations. The lockdown has been lifted. An individual on campus was making threatening remarks and showing aggressive behavior to school staff. The Garland County Sherriff's Department and school security team immediately responded to the situation. The individual is no longer on the Lake Hamilton School District campus and is in the custody of the GCSD. #LHWolfNation

LHSD | LOCKDOWN The Lake Hamilton School District is currently under lockdown. Students and staff are remaining inside with all exterior doors locked. The Garland County Sheriffs Department and school security team are on-site and are in the process of removing the threat. The district will release more information regarding the lockdown as it becomes available. #LHWolfNation
