The LHSD Board of Education passed a calendar revision for the 2023-2024 school year during last night's meeting. The revision moved the Friday, April 19, 2024 school holiday to Monday, April 8, 2024. There will be no school for students or staff on Monday, April 8, 2024. Friday, April 19, 2024, will be a regular school day for Lake Hamilton students and staff.

The decision to revise the calendar stemmed from multiple meetings held with local law enforcement, first responders, and community leaders in preparation for the solar eclipse and the influx of visitors to the city that day.
