FCA AND DONUTS
Students had another great FCA meeting this morning with a side of donuts! Troy Phillips and Justy Smith led the devotional this morning.
The Junior High FCA meetings are every Thursday morning before school in the gym.

LOCKDOWN LIFTED
The Lake Hamilton School District has returned to normal operations. The lockdown has been lifted. An individual on campus was making threatening remarks and showing aggressive behavior to school staff. The Garland County Sherriff's Department and school security team immediately responded to the situation. The individual is no longer on the Lake Hamilton School District campus and is in the custody of the GCSD.

LHSD | LOCKDOWN
The Lake Hamilton School District is currently under lockdown. Students and staff are remaining inside with all exterior doors locked. The Garland County Sheriffs Department and school security team are on-site and are in the process of removing the threat. The district will release more information regarding the lockdown as it becomes available.

The 9.11.01 Remembrance Parade begins at 1:30 p.m. today. Sections of Oakbrook, Adam Brown, and Wolf Street will be blocked off during the parade. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we honor and remember 9.11.01. #LHWolfNation

SCIENCE LAB SAFETY
Ninth grade Physical Science students recently finished their unit on lab safety by placing drops of hydrochloric acid on an egg to demonstrate the importance of eye safety. Our ninth grade students are all excited and looking forward to a great year of working safely in the lab!

COVID-19 VACCINE OPPORTUNITY
Are you attending the big game on Friday? Have you been trying to find a time and place to receive the COVID-19 vaccine? Lake Hamilton and Lakeside have teamed up to provide a convenient vaccination opportunity for you!
The Arkansas Department of Health / Garland County Health Unit will be onsite Friday night offering COVID-19 vaccines during the game.
Arkansans ages 12 or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. There is no out-of-pocket expense for the vaccine. For those that do not have insurance, the vaccine will be available at no charge.
