CONTEST WINNER!
Mrs. Hrvatin's Quantitative Literacy students recently learned about the financial aspects of fundraising. Students planned a fundraiser for the 2023 Senior Send Off and a contest was held to design a t-shirt for the exciting day. Serenity Bagley won the contest and her t-shirt design will be printed and sold to celebrate Senior Send Off 2033.
Way to go Serenity.

MRS. HRVATIN'S CLASS MAKES CHRISTMAS CARDS
Mrs. Hrvatin rewards her students with special projects during RTI.
This week students with good grades were rewarded during their RTI time by making Christmas cards for their loved ones.

LHHS CELEBRATED WORLD KINDNESS DAY
Members of Sources of Strength, Alpha Pack and FBLA passed out Kindness Bags to students and staff in order to promote World Kindness Day in addition to meeting someone new. They also went to advisory classes on Thursday to pass out kindness themed bookmarks for interested students and staff.

THANKSGIVING BREAK
The LHSD is thankful for our wonderful students, staff, parents, and community members!
All Lake Hamilton School District buildings and offices will be closed November 21 - 25 for Thanksgiving Break. School will resume for students and staff on Monday, November 28.

QUANTITATIVE LITERACY STUDENTS
Germ free! Students in Mrs. Hrvatin's Quantitative Literacy class showed off their knowledge of dimensional analysis and proportional reasoning by making hand sanitizer. The students worked hard to perform the correct calculations and loved making their own bottle of hand sanitizer.

LHHS AGRICULTURAL MECHANICS
Agricultural Mechanics and Advanced Agricultural Mechanics students in Mr. Dykes's classes have completed their OSHA-10 certification this semester. This 10-hour course is an industry-recognized safety program that is required in many industrial occupations and the certification never expires.

LHHS THEATRE CLUB
Mr. Bean's Theatre Club visited The Pocket Theatre in downtown Hot Springs on last week where Pocket Board Members, Tami Kendall and Steve Mitchell, gave club members a tour of the theatre and led the group in improv games.
