LHHS BOWLING TEAM
The Lake Hamilton Boys competed in the state bowling tournament at Hijinx Bowling Center in Jonesboro on Friday. They finished 6th as a team with 3,774 pins. Tyler Salter finished 27th with 539 pins and Kody Weisel finished 31st with 531 pins. They had a great season.
Seniors on the Girls and Boys Varsity teams include 3 year team members Madison Cole and Seth Cheresnick, and Devin Patel, Tayton Olson, Christian Gunter, and Alex Cheek.

LHHS ANDVANCED ANIMAL SCIENCE CLASS
The Advanced Animal Science class is working on small animal care and the students are working to become certified in dog grooming and pet hygiene. We are excited to build this program.

The senior parent meeting originally scheduled for tomorrow has been moved to next Thursday, February 9, at 8:00 a.m. in Wolf Arena. If you've not yet RSVP'd for the meeting, you can do so here: https://lhsd.info/senior-parent-meeting

Yearbooks will be delivered in May 2023. Senior Ads are due February 28th.

Due to the predicted inclement weather, the Lake Hamilton School District will not hold onsite instruction and will utilize an AMI day on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
AMI days are approved by the Arkansas Department of Education and count as instructional days. All students are required to complete assignments through their learning management systems: SeeSaw (grades K - 5) and Canvas (grades 6 - 12) in order to be counted as present for the AMI day on Tuesday.
The LHSD understands some students may be without access to the internet and/or electricity. As listed in the AMI plan approved by the Arkansas Department of Education, Lake Hamilton students have up to five (5) days following the return to onsite instruction to submit assignments.
Please contact your child's teacher(s) with any questions related to AMI assignments and expectations.

LHHS ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB STUDENTS
Lake Hamilton Art and Photography Club students traveled to downtown Hot Springs on the last day school was in session for December. These select students took in the sights drawing, photographing, and watching live demonstrations at Dryden Pottery as ceramic pieces where thrown on the wheel and at Riley Glass where a pair of brothers create using one of a kind works of art made from molten glass blown to perfection. The students enjoyed tasting the local food and warm drinks at Kollective Coffee and Tea and at SQZBX pizzeria.
