COMPUTER SCIENCE HONOR SOCIETY INDUCTION
The Lake Hamilton Chapter of the National Computer Science Honor Society inducted 24 new members on February 24, 2021.
The purpose of the Society is to create thriving environments for success in computer science in the school community by encouraging students’ enthusiasm, honoring academic excellence, and promoting service. These students were selected based upon their scholastic records and their exceptional performance in computer science.

WRESTLING WOLVES
The Lake Hamilton High School Wrestling Wolves recently competed in the 5A West Conference Tournament in Greenwood. Congratulations to the following wrestlers for their placement in the conference meet:

3rd Place: Matthew Kara, Brooklyn Keisler, Joseph Richards

The Lake Hamilton School District will not hold onsite instruction On Monday, February 22, 2021.
The safety and security of our students and staff remain our top priority. Although the majority of main roads are clear, there are many side roads in the Lake Hamilton School District that remain unsafe for school buses.
Monday will be a virtual learning day for students and staff. Students and parents should log in and check their Seesaw or Canvas account for assignments and specific classroom instructions. Please contact your child's teacher(s) if you have any questions pertaining to virtual assignments and/or lessons.

CONFERENCE RUNNER-UP
The Swimming Wolves recently competed at the 5A South Conference Meet. Congratulations to the boys team for bringing home the conference runner-up trophy and 6 gold medals. COMPUTER SCIENCE COMPETITION
Lake Hamilton High School computer science teacher, Karma Turner, had two teams of students participate in the #HighSchoolHack competition held at ASMSA on Saturday, February 13.
#HighSchoolHack is an all day computer science competition for Arkansas high school students. The competition consists of a series of challenges/puzzles that focus on reverse engineering, cryptography, programming, pen testing, web vulnerabilities, forensics, and more. Over the course of the competition, participant teams work to find solutions and capture as many flags (and points) as possible before time runs out. #HighSchoolHack is designed to help participants develop knowledge in computer science and cyber security.
