SPORTS HALL OF FAME BANQUET TICKETS ON SALE The Lake Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame Committee has selected 5 individuals to induct into the Lake Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2021. The banquet and induction ceremony will take place on Friday, February 19, in the Lake Hamilton High School Cafeteria at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available online (https://lhsd.info/Sports-HOF-Tickets) for $15 per person and include the banquet, dinner, and admission to the basketball game. Tickets to the banquet will not be available at the door. All tickets must be purchased by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021. MITCH PETRUS AWARD Lake Hamilton High School senior, Destin Rhodes, was recently awarded the Mitch Petrus Award. Destin appeared on Fox16 to receive the award. Sue and Phil Petrus, parents of Mitch Petrus, joined the broadcast via video conference to offer their congratulations and announce that Destin would receive scholarship money associated with the award. Mitch Petrus passed away in 2019 of a heat stroke. The Mitch Petrus Award goes to a high school football player each year that best represents Mitch's characteristics. #LHWolfNation

ALL STATE BAND Eight Lake Hamilton High School Power Band of Arkansas students have been selected for the Arkansas All-State band. The students competed for individual placement in the Region 2 Honor Band this past December. The highest-scoring students in each region qualified to audition for the Arkansas All-State band. All-State is the highest honor an individual musician can earn in Arkansas.
