RUNNING LANE TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS Zeke McCain, Evan Armitage, and Olivia Pielemieier represented the Lake Hamilton High School Track & Field team at the Running Lane Track Championships held in Madison, Alabama on June 11-12. Zeke McCain and Evan Armitage competed Friday night in the 3200m run with McCain clocking 9:49.93 and Armitage 9:55.14 in a very competitive field in their heat of the 3200m run. Saturday night’s racing saw McCain come back in the actual Mile distance (not 1600m) and clock a 4:28.48 in his competitive heat of the boys mile race which converts to a 4:26.92 personal best in the 1600m run. In the girls actual Mile distance, Pielemeier ran a 5:07.64, which converts to a 5:05.86 in the 1600m, lowering her school record that she set earlier this spring at the Lake Hamilton Invitational by over 2 seconds. The 1600m run is the standard race distance in Arkansas closest to the actual mile which is slightly longer than the 1600m run. These three athletes will be back in the fall leading the Lake Hamilton Cross Country teams! #LHWolfNation

UPDATED QUARANTINE GUIDELINES Governor Asa Hutchinson announced a change in quarantine policy for schools as Arkansas prepares for school next year.  "I am pleased to announce that if you are in school and you have been fully vaccinated then there will be no quarantine required if you are exposed to COVID-19.  This is very important for our parents and our students.  It means that you can continue in school and you can continue with your extracurricular activities, and this applies also to higher education in terms of their contact tracing." Governor Hutchinson said.  #LHWolfNation
