NOW HIRING | BUS DRIVERS
The Lake Hamilton School District is hiring bus drivers. A driver must be (𝟮𝟭) 𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆-𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿, have a 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱, be able to 𝗼𝗯𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘀 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲, provide a 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣 𝙙𝙧𝙪𝙜 𝙨𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣, and 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙖 𝙥𝙝𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 that is required by the Arkansas Department of Education once every (2) two years. A driver must 𝙤𝙗𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 "𝘽" 𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙚 with Air Brake, Passenger, and School Bus Endorsements.

LOCKDOWN LIFTED
The Lake Hamilton School District has returned to normal operations. The lockdown has been lifted. An individual on campus was making threatening remarks and showing aggressive behavior to school staff. The Garland County Sherriff's Department and school security team immediately responded to the situation. The individual is no longer on the Lake Hamilton School District campus and is in the custody of the GCSD.

LHSD | LOCKDOWN
The Lake Hamilton School District is currently under lockdown. Students and staff are remaining inside with all exterior doors locked. The Garland County Sheriffs Department and school security team are on-site and are in the process of removing the threat. The district will release more information regarding the lockdown as it becomes available.

CLASS OF 2021 SPORTS HALL OF FAME
Congratulations to the following individuals for being inducted into the Lake Hamilton Sports Hall of Fame: Meredith Heckel Larue, Ethan Turpen, Matt Wait, Jessica Weatherford, and John Welch. The induction was held on Friday, August 27, 2021, during the pre-game of the Lake Hamilton and Lakeside football game. Current Hall of Fame members Jamie Bridges, Karl Koonce, Stephanie Foreman, Dixie Land French, and Tiffany Wait McCain were on hand to present the plaques on field to the 2021 recipients.

The Lake Hamilton Wolves will host the Lakeside Rams tonight at Wolf Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. All tickets must be purchased online at lhwolves.ticketleap.com.

COVID-19 VACCINE OPPORTUNITY
Are you attending the big game on Friday? Have you been trying to find a time and place to receive the COVID-19 vaccine? Lake Hamilton and Lakeside have teamed up to provide a convenient vaccination opportunity for you!
The Arkansas Department of Health / Garland County Health Unit will be onsite Friday night offering COVID-19 vaccines during the game.
Arkansans ages 12 or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. There is no out-of-pocket expense for the vaccine. For those that do not have insurance, the vaccine will be available at no charge.
