WHY MASKS?
Not only do masks help prevent the spread of COVID-19, but they can also 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 students and staff from being placed in 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 if worn 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 and 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆. Check out the graphic for an example of how proper mask wearing can reduce student quarantine! #LHWolfNation

All home athletic event tickets must be purchased online at lhwolves.ticketleap.com. Tickets will not be sold at the gate. Athletic tickets will be available approximately 7 days prior to each home game!

MEALS AT NO COST FOR 2021-22 SCHOOL YEAR
The Lake Hamilton School District is pleased to announce that breakfasts and lunches will be served to all students at no charge during the 2021-2022 school year. It is not necessary to complete a meal application for free or reduced-priced meals as The United States Department of Agriculture has extended meal benefits to all students at this time.
For households who wish to complete a meal application, please click the following link: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/PickDistrict. Paper applications will also be available upon request at each school.
These meal benefits do not include a la carte items sold in the cafeteria. If students wish to purchase items a la carte, they will need to have money for those purchases.
All adults, teachers, support staff members, and administrators of the district must assume the full cost of the meal which is $2.25 for Breakfast and $3.85 for Lunch.

MASKS REQUIRED INDOORS & ON SCHOOL BUSES
On Monday, August 9, 2021, the Lake Hamilton School District Board of Education approved the following mask policy:
All students (Pre-K through 12th grade), employees, and visitors entering schools and indoor facilities within the Lake Hamilton School District must wear an appropriate face-covering. All passengers and drivers on district school busses must wear an appropriate face-covering.
The Board of Education will review COVID-19 case counts and related data monthly. The mask policy will expire on December 17, 2021, or sooner, if the board moves to repeal them, or a court acts to reverse the temporary injunction or uphold Act 1002 of 2021.

UNITED SOCCER COACHES AWARDS
The United Soccer Coaches recently named the individuals recognized for the winter/spring 2021 season.
Congratulations to Elijah Shields, Mikey Jimenez, Anthony Schauf, and Dereck Strong for being named as United Soccer Coaches Arkansas Boys High School All-State athlete.
The United Soccer Coaches was founded in 1941 and is based in Kansas City, Missouri. It has grown into the world's largest soccer coaches' organization that serves members at every level of the game.

Arkansans ages 12 or older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. There is no out-of-pocket expense for the vaccine. For those that do not have insurance, the vaccine will be available at no charge. Contact the Arkansas Department of Health by calling 1-800-985-6030 or visit healthy.arkansas.gov to find a vaccine clinic near you!

COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS
There are three upcoming vaccine clinics in Hot Springs:
July 10: Tesla Fest at Mid America Science Museum (Pfizer 1st dose), 500 Mid America Blvd. (10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.)
July 10: Wade Park, 300 Wade St. (10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
July 17: Bank OZK Arena, 134 Convention Blvd. (8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.)
Arkansans ages 12 or older are now eligible to receive the vaccine.
Each week, vaccine clinics will happen in each of the five public health regions. Some clinics will be first-come, first-served, but reservations can be made at others. See the table below for full details, or call the ADH vaccine clinic call center at 1-800-985-6030.
There is no out-of-pocket expense for the vaccine. People should bring their insurance cards to the clinic. If they do not have insurance, the vaccine will be available at no charge.
