LAUNCHPAD COMPLETE
Mrs. Kirby and Mrs. Jessie's PreK Class completed their Launchpad curriculum. Launchpad is an introduction to the world of literacy and reading through an interactive program. The skills that are taught will lay the foundation for reading all through elementary school.

JUMP ROPE FUN
Students in Ms. Jordan's P.E. Class are learning how to jump a stationary rope and a single jump rope. So much fun!

LHPS TEACHER OF THE YEAR
Congratulations to Ms. Halie Brakefield for being selected as the Lake Hamilton Primary School Teacher of the Year! Ms. Brakefield is the librarian at the Primary School and does a great job of sharing her love of reading with students, staff, and parents.

CVC WORD PRACTICE
Kindergarten students in Ms. Mahan's class are segmenting and blending letter sounds together to read CVC words. Then they find a picture to match the word they just read.
GLOW PARTY
Mrs. Bledsoe's kindergarten class celebrated with a glow party for all of their class reaching benchmark scores on iStation end-of-year tests in reading, math, or both.

Congratulations to our LHPS April Alpha Pack and Cub Club! Teachers selected these students based on their outstanding character and for doing all things the "Wolf Way."

Students in Ms. Jordan's P.E. class are playing Tee-Ball to have some fun and get in some fitness.

ALPHABET SQUARES
Kindergarten students are finishing their alphabet squares in Ms. Stallman's art class by using oil pastels and watercolors to learn about how oil resists water.

Students in Ms. Nash's kindergarten class celebrated with a cookie after every student raised their iStation testing score.

SENTENCE STRUCTURE
Students in Ms. Wornick's first-grade class are working on sentence structure together by reading, building, and writing sentences.

LAVA LAMP EXPERIMENT
Mrs. Kirby's Pre-K class is continuing with their A-Z Summer Countdown, with "E for Experiment". Students used oil, water, and a secret ingredient to make Lava Lamps.

TWENTY DAYS ATTENDANCE
Ms. Hall's first-grade class is the first to reach 20 days of perfect attendance. They celebrated with a popcorn party.

Pre-K students in Mrs. Kirby and Mrs. Jessie's Class are kicking off their A-Z Summer Countdown with an activity for each letter fo the Alphabet. A is for Art.

LIFE OF A BUTTERFLY
Ms. Nash’s kindergarten class has been studying butterflies. They wrapped up their learning by writing butterfly facts and showing the lifecycle of a butterfly using noodles!
