POPCICLE PARTY Ms. Kight's first-grade class has already earned all the letters for a popsicle party for having good behavior, doing hard work, and getting compliments from other teachers and staff! #LHWolfNation

CHRYSANTHEMUM Ms. Oglesby's kindergarten class talked about how saying unkind, words can make someone's heart wilt. As they read the book "Chrysanthemum", every time someone said something unkind to her, they crumbled their paper hearts. At the end of the book, they tried to flatten and smooth their hearts back to look like new, but found that it was impossible! This was a great visual to show how words can hurt others. Students promised to only use kind words to their friends so everyone can have a happy heart! #LHWolfNation

WOLF FAN FRIDAY Tomorrow is #WolfFanFriday! PICTURE DAY Fall pictures for Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade students will be on September 1st. All students will be photographed for the Yearbook but only those who pre-pay will receive a picture package. Make-up pictures will be on October 11th. #LHWolfNation

PLAYDOH NAMES Ms. Jordan's kindergarten class has been using Playdoh to practice making the letters in their name. #LHWolfNation

LIBRARY FUN First Grade students spent some time exploring games and books in the library! #LHWolfNation

CAR RIDER DISMISSAL Please see the attached information for Car Rider Dismissal procedures. Following these procedures will help us get the line moving faster and reduce the chance of accidents. Reminder: Please do not move around other cars to get to your pick-up spot. This causes the other students to lose their place in line. #LHWolfNation

CLASSROOM FAMILY Mrs. Hightower's first-grade class read Our Class is a Family to help build and strengthen their class community. Students learned that their classroom is a place where it's safe to be themselves, it's okay to make mistakes, and it's important to be a friend to others. Family isn't always your relatives. After the story, each child received their classroom family bracelet! #LHWolfNation
