PICTURE RETAKES
Fall/Yearbook picture re-takes will be on Tuesday, October 11th. If you had pictures made and would like a retake, please let your child's teacher know. If you purchased a picture package, please return it on picture day and you will receive the same package with a retake. BUILDING THE LETTER "F"
Students in Ms. A. Rhodes' class use the Handwriting Without Tears Program to learn to build the letter "F" using straight lines. Then they practice writing it.

MAKING APPLESAUCE
After completing their study of apples, Ms. Jordan's kindergarten class worked together to make a delicious snack of homemade applesauce with their apples.

LETTER SOUNDS
Students in Ms. Thornton's first-grade class are working on isolating beginning letter sounds and attaching a grapheme to them during center time!

OUTSIDE SNACKTIME
Ms. Oglesby's kindergarten class took advantage of the cool temperatures and ate their snack outside. They enjoyed music, laughs and the company of their friends...even a few spiders came to join them!

SOLVING NUMBER SENTENCES
Students in Ms. Wornick's first grade class worked in pairs to solve addition number sentences using cubes for support. Addition fluency within 20 is an essential skill for first graders.
