As families begin planning for the upcoming school year, the Lake Hamilton School District is excited to make back-to-school preparation easier than ever.
For the 2026-27 school year, every enrolled Lake Hamilton student will receive free breakfast, free lunch, and all instructional school supplies at no cost to families.
The district's participation in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) allows all students to receive nutritious breakfast and lunch each school day free of charge, regardless of household income. In addition, Lake Hamilton will once again provide all instructional school supplies needed for the classroom.
With meals and school supplies covered, families are only asked to provide:
🎒 A backpack
💧 A water bottle labeled with the student's name
The district also recognizes that some families may need additional assistance. Through the Lake Hamilton Parent Center, support is available for students who need a backpack or water bottle to ensure they are ready for the first day of school.
Providing free meals and instructional school supplies is another way the Lake Hamilton School District is investing in its students and families. By removing financial barriers and ensuring every student has the essentials needed for the school day, the district is helping create an environment where students can focus on learning, build confidence, and achieve success from the very first day of school.
