LOCKDOWN LIFTED The Lake Hamilton School District has returned to normal operations. The lockdown has been lifted. An individual on campus was making threatening remarks and showing aggressive behavior to school staff. The Garland County Sherriff's Department and school security team immediately responded to the situation. The individual is no longer on the Lake Hamilton School District campus and is in the custody of the GCSD. #LHWolfNation

LHSD | LOCKDOWN The Lake Hamilton School District is currently under lockdown. Students and staff are remaining inside with all exterior doors locked. The Garland County Sheriffs Department and school security team are on-site and are in the process of removing the threat. The district will release more information regarding the lockdown as it becomes available. #LHWolfNation

ROADS CLOSED DURING PARADE The 9.11.01 Remembrance Parade begins at 1:30 p.m. today. Sections of Oakbrook, Adam Brown, and Wolf Street will be blocked off during the parade. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we honor and remember 9.11.01. #LHWolfNation

RED WHITE AND BLUE Tomorrow is a special #WolfFanFriday. Everyone in #LHWolfNation is encouraged to wear red, white, and blue as we honor and remember the lives lost and the brave first responders who put their lives on the line on 9.11.01. CLUB DAYS! With over 20 clubs to choose from, our student organizations truly offer something for everyone! Students had an opportunity to meet and interact with club sponsors on Tuesday, August 31st and Wednesday, September 1st during third period. Club days gave students the chance to collect information about how to join and also about upcoming events and activities! #LHWolfNation

TENNIS NEWS! In tennis news, LH traveled to Lakeside last Thursday. The Lady Rams swept girls play, while the Rams won 3 out of 4. Ty Robinson and Kai Condley did come away with a decisive victory in doubles play with a 6-2, 6-2 win. Congratulations to these two young men! The Tennis Teams travel to Texarkana today. CROSS COUNTRY PRE-SEASON RANKINGS The pre-season rankings are out for cross country! The Lake Hamilton High School boys made the top 100 rankings for returning boys teams to watch for cross country nationally in 2021. The boys are ranked 94 in the United States our of all senior high boys teams combined for their returning top 5 runners. The boys are also ranked #1 in 5A and #1 overall (in all classifications) combined for returning runners in the pre-season Arkansas boys cross country rankings. The senior girls are currently ranked #5 in 5A Arkansas, but very close to the #1 spot! Have a great season, Running Wolves! #LHWolfNation

REDNECK DRESS UP DAY! To cheer on the Wolves students dressed up like rednecks for spirit day. The football team takes on Lakeside Rams at home tonight at 7pm. #LHWolfNation

WOLVES HOST RAMS The Lake Hamilton Wolves will host the Lakeside Rams tonight at Wolf Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. All tickets must be purchased online at lhwolves.ticketleap.com. Since the games are at full capacity this year, Lake Hamilton Live will release a delayed broadcast following completion of the game.
