SUPERINTENDENT'S STUDENT ADVISORY COUNCIL LHSD Superintendent Shawn Higginbotham recently held a meeting with all of the members of the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council. STUDENTS OF THE WEEK - NOVEMBER 9 Coleen Miller and Weston Ault Coleen, nominated by Ms. Turner, is always willing to help in any way needed. She is also instrumental in motivating others to continue to learn and help one another. Weston, nominated by Mr. Johnson, is always a hard worker who helps when needed. He is a good student and an all around great person who always looks to lend a hand to anyone in need. SILVER MEDALIST The Lake Hamilton High School Power Band of Arkansas earned the silver medal at State Marching Band contest held in Little Rock Monday, November 2. In addition, the band earned the high music score in class 6A and earned their 5th consecutive 1st division rating at the State Marching Contest. #LHWolfNation

SPIRIT WEEK PARTICIPATION This week has been great to see our students display their school spirit. A student who dressed up all 4 days had his/her spirit card punched for a chance to win Sonic Gift Cards. We had 74 kids dress and have their cards punched all 4 days. The winners were Lauren Bigham, Mikaylah Cousins, Tia Mullenix, Taylor Humphreys, Anna Floyd, Alva Ramos, Jasmine Maldonado, Caelin McMillian, Cora Ashley, and Kaylyn Kugler. HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL RECAP Lake Hamilton High School volleyball coach, Karen Smith, recently shared how thankful she was that her team was able to play their entire schedule this season and how proud she was of her team! The team went 10-2 in conference play, finished 2nd in the conference, and made it to the first round of the state tournament.
