Lake Hamilton Wrestling delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 5A State Wrestling Championships in Little Rock, bringing home major hardware and statewide recognition.
The boys' team earned the 5A State Runner-Up Trophy, finishing just 10 points out of first place and once again coming out ahead of their crosstown rivals in the overall standings. The Lady Wolves also had an incredible showing, finishing third in the state and proving their strength on the mat.
Several Wolves stood atop the podium with first-place finishes, including Caddo Gilmore, Cannon Vincent, Caden Parrson, Hayley Riddell, Raylee Hunter, and Lilyana Suit.
Other strong individual performances included Ryder Plant (2nd place), Parker Williams (3rd place), Layne Elmore (3rd place), Cameron Reeves (4th place), and David Dalton (3rd place).
Adding to an already memorable weekend, Raylee Hunter was named the Girls Most Outstanding Wrestler in 5A, a tremendous honor recognizing her exceptional skill and determination.
The Lake Hamilton School District is incredibly proud of every wrestler for their hard work, discipline, and Wolf Pack pride. These athletes represented Lake Hamilton with excellence and continue to build a powerful wrestling tradition.
