Lake Hamilton High School is proud to announce that senior Zoe White has been named a National Merit Semifinalist. Zoe is one of more than 16,000 academically talented students across the nation to earn this prestigious recognition.

This year’s semifinalists represent less than 1% of U.S. high school seniors, and only 144 students in Arkansas received this honor. These outstanding students now have the opportunity to apply to become finalists, bringing them one step closer to being named National Merit Scholars—an honor that includes significant scholarship opportunities to support their higher education goals. Winners will be announced beginning in April.

The National Merit Scholarship Program, established in 1955, recognizes and rewards exceptional academic achievement. The rigorous selection process begins with the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) taken by high school juniors nationwide.

Lake Hamilton is incredibly proud of Zoe’s dedication, academic excellence, and commitment to her future. Her recognition as a National Merit Semifinalist highlights both her individual hard work and the strong academic foundation provided by the district.
