COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC The Lake Hamilton School District will host a free, voluntary, COVID-19 vaccination clinic in the lobby of Wolf Arena on Wednesday, April 28 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The vaccination clinic has been coordinated through the Garland County COVID-19 Task Force. 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: The vaccine clinic is available to all Lake Hamilton students 16 years and older, as well as Lake Hamilton family members. A parent/guardian must be present for all student vaccinations. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗼 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Please fill out the consent form (https://lhsd.info/Vaccine-Consent-Form), bring a photo ID, and an insurance card (if applicable). There is 𝗻𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 for the vaccine. There is 𝗻𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 to attend the vaccine clinic. #LHWolfNation

THEMED DRESS UP WEEK Primary School students have been participating in the High School's spirit week for Homecoming. There have been celebrities, Disney characters, and students dressed like the decades throughout the week. #LHWolfNation

ENVIRONMENTAL KINDNESS DAY As a part of Earth Day and the Garland County Kindness Challenge, Lake Hamilton students and staff are encouraged to pick up litter/trash found around the school and community on Thursday, April 22. SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR The Scholastic Book Fair will be held online April 26th-May 3rd and in the Primary School Library April 26th-30th. Students will be able to shop during their library time that week. There will not be a parent night this year. REMINDER | WELL CHILD VISIT All children who receive Arkansas Medicaid services must see their doctor for a well child visit each year. Families needing to establish a primary care physician can visit (https://afmc.org/individuals/arkansans-on-medicaid/connectcare/ ) or call the Lake Hamilton School District Special Services office (501-767-8444) for assistance. For those wanting to visit the Wolf Health Clinic for their well child visit that are not current Healthstar patients must receive a referral from their doctor for that service. #LHWolfNation

REMINDER | STUDENT DIGITAL DAY Friday, April 16 is a student digital day. Students will not attend school onsite this day. Instead, they will complete virtual assignments from home. Attendance will be counted based on the completion of assignments. KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION | MAY 3 Calling all future Lake Hamilton Wolves that will be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2021! Kindergarten registration opens online Monday, May 3, for the 2021-22 school year at Lake Hamilton Primary School. To prepare for kindergarten registration, gather the required documents (listed below). Documents will need to be scanned and saved to your computer in order to upload them into the application OR you may take photos of the documents with your phone for upload (please make sure photos are of good quality). For those unable to upload when registering, documents may be brought to the primary school office or emailed to k.reg@lhwolves.net Required Documents: 1. Proof of Residency in the Lake Hamilton School District (Current utility bill in parent/guardian's name or a note attached from account holder's name stating student(s) and his/her guardian live at said address) 2. Child's Official Birth Certificate (or hospital proof of birth) 3. Kindergarten Physical (similar to an athletic physical; not a well-child check). 4. Child's Current Immunization Record *Please note: those unable to upload all required documents will not be considered registered until they are submitted to the school. Students will not be assigned a teacher until all documents are submitted to the school. **Current Lake Hamilton Pre-K students will not need to complete the online registration. Lake Hamilton Pre-K teachers have shared information with each student on kindergarten registration. If you have a current Lake Hamilton Pre-K student and have not received this information, please contact your teacher.
