After completing their study of apples, Ms. Jordan's kindergarten class worked together to make a delicious snack of homemade applesauce with their apples.

Students in Ms. Thornton's first-grade class are working on isolating beginning letter sounds and attaching a grapheme to them during center time!

Ms. Oglesby's kindergarten class took advantage of the cool temperatures and ate their snack outside. They enjoyed music, laughs and the company of their friends...even a few spiders came to join them!

SOLVING NUMBER SENTENCES
Students in Ms. Wornick's first grade class worked in pairs to solve addition number sentences using cubes for support. Addition fluency within 20 is an essential skill for first graders.

Mrs. D. Rhodes' kindergarten class is beginning to explore centers. Some students practiced fine motor skills with play-doh, while others worked with manipulatives.

After working hard learning the Letter 'f' and the phoneme it makes, Mrs. Bledsoe's kindergarten class created hats by adding pictures that begin with the letter F.
