HELPING OTHERS Ms. Thornton's first grade class has been learning about September 11th. They read the book "Fireboat" about the John. J. Harvey, and discussed what it means to help others. The students crafted the John J. Harvey and wrote about a time that they were able to help someone in need. #LHWolfNation

LEARNING ABOUT SHADOWS Ms. Meeks first grade class has been earning about shadows and how the sun's angle and time of day can move shadows. #LHWolfNation

WELCOME LHPS would like to welcome Ms. Makenna Sisson this semester. Ms. Sisson is a graduate of Lake Hamilton and the daughter of Ms. Rather, Primary School Resource Teacher. She will be working with the Speech/Language Pathologists as she finishes her last clinical for Graduate School. #LHWolfNation

COLOR SORTING After reading the book "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?", Ms. A. Rhodes' kindergarten class colored things the same color as they were in the book and then sorted M&Ms by color to practice color recognition. #LHWolfNation

WOLF FAN FRIDAY-COLLEGE EDITION For this special edition of Wolf Fan Friday, students and staff wore their favorite college shirt. Teachers talked about what college is and attending college with students. #LHWolfNation

WATERCOLOR FUN Ms. Nash's kindergarten class had some fun with watercolors by practicing coloring inside the lines. #LHWolfNation

PICTURE DAY IS COMING Fall pictures will be Thursday, September 2nd. These pictures will be used for the Yearbook so all students will be photographed. Only those who pre-pay will receive a package. Re-takes will be October 11th. #LHWolfNation

COVID-19 VACCINE OPPORTUNITY Are you attending the big game on Friday? Have you been trying to find a time and place to receive the COVID-19 vaccine? Lake Hamilton and Lakeside have teamed up to provide a convenient vaccination opportunity for you! The Arkansas Department of Health / Garland County Health Unit will be onsite Friday night offering COVID-19 vaccines during the game. Arkansans ages 12 or older are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. There is no out-of-pocket expense for the vaccine. For those that do not have insurance, the vaccine will be available at no charge. #LHWolfNation

CALL FOR REGISTRATION | 9.11.01 PARADE This year marks the 20th anniversary of 9.11.01. The Lake Hamilton School District will remember and honor the 20th anniversary with a Remembrance Parade through campus on Friday, September 10, at 1:30 p.m. The LHSD would like to invite all area first responders, medical professionals, and past/present military members to participate in the parade.
