The Lake Hamilton School District is excited to continue the P.A.C.K. (Positive Adults Caring for Kids) Partners Program for the 2026–2027 school year. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other caring adults are invited to become involved in our schools and make a positive difference in the lives of Lake Hamilton students.
P.A.C.K. Partners serve as an extra set of hands and a positive adult presence throughout our campuses. Volunteer opportunities may include opening car doors during arrival and dismissal, assisting with lunch and recess duty, helping monitor hallways, entrances, parking lots, and playgrounds, supporting teachers and office staff with daily tasks, reading to students, interacting with students on the playground, assisting with special activities and events, and more.
Who Can Become a P.A.C.K. Partner?
Any adult 21 years of age or older who wants to make a positive impact on Lake Hamilton students is invited to participate.
New P.A.C.K. Partners
Adults who are new to the program must complete the online registration form, attend one required on-site orientation and training session, and successfully complete all district-required background checks. All volunteers are also expected to follow district and building-level policies, procedures, and expectations for professional conduct while serving on campus.
The district will offer one on-site training opportunity in September, October, November, January, and February. The specific date and time for each training will be announced approximately two weeks in advance.
Once the required training has been completed and the background check has been approved, volunteers will receive confirmation that they are officially cleared to begin serving in Lake Hamilton schools.
Returning P.A.C.K. Partners
Adults who were official P.A.C.K. Partners during the 2025–2026 school year and previously completed the required on-site training and background check do not have to attend training again.
Returning P.A.C.K. Partners should visit the Lake Hamilton Administration Office Front Desk to complete a Returning P.A.C.K. Partner Form and pay the $5 background check fee. Once the updated background check has been processed and approved, volunteers will be contacted and added to the official 2026–2027 P.A.C.K. Partner List.
Volunteering Begins September 8
Approved new and returning P.A.C.K. Partners may begin volunteering on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. Additional information regarding volunteer opportunities and campus procedures will be provided to approved partners.
Whether you have time to volunteer occasionally or would like to serve on a regular basis, your presence can make a meaningful difference. The P.A.C.K. Partners Program is another way our families and community can work alongside Lake Hamilton employees to support, encourage, and care for our students.
