2020 Coach of the Year

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association recently announced that Brandon Smith has been named the 2020 Boys' High School Cross Country Coach of the Year for the state of Arkansas.  

This honor was based upon Brandon's leadership and the performance of the Lake Hamilton High School boys' team throughout the 2020 season. 

The USTFCCCA Cross Country and Track & Field Coach of the Year award program is sponsored by the United States Marine Corps. The program annually recognizes the success of high school coaches for boys' and girls' cross country and track & field in all 50 states and the District of Columbia as well as a National Coach of the Year in the respective sports. 

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) is a non-profit professional organization representing cross country and track & field coaches of all levels. The organization represents over 10,000 coaching members encompassing NCAA track & field and cross country programs of all divisions, the NAIA, the NJCAA and several state high school track & field/cross country coaches associations.
